I am here

We used to travel extensively. Weekends for leisure and weekdays for work. We also used to work like dogs...80-hr week was a common theme. That all came to a stop when I found out I was pregnant with bebis. Seems so long ago.

Ever since bebis was born, I took an extended leave of absence and decided to stay home. Work can always wait, I figure. I wouldn't want to miss bebis' first smile, the first words, the first crawl, etc...wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Those who have known me for a long time were (and still are) surprised by my decision to stay home. "You'd go crazy!" said some. "It's very tough!" said the others. Well, have I been known to do things the easy way? I quite enjoy it. Yes, he is a handful especially because he has so much energy. But that's ok. Much rather have an active and smiley baby than a round blob.

So here is our journey...

Visit to Allergist

So we went to the allergist today. Did skin test to confirm the results w/ the blood test. Yup, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, and wheat are officially off limits, so is soy for a limited amount of time. Good news is, both tests confirm that we are ok with dairy. So perhaps after his flare up subsides, we can start feeding him yogurt and cheese...slowly.

Another blood test scheduled for tomorrow to investigate some additional potential culprits, including avocado (could the latest flare up be due to the avocado that I have been eating?). Poor guy, he was wailing for the entire time during and after skin test. Big tear drops...break my heart. :(

Just hope that he will outgrow this soon.

For now, sweet dream little one.
